Jeff Krebs
Founder & CEO
Jeff Krebs is the Principal of Mesmeric Entertainment and a seasoned leader with over
40 years of experience spanning nearly every facet of the entertainment industry.
Beginning his career as a disc jockey, Jeff went on to tour globally alongside some of
the biggest names in music before expanding into product innovation, event production,
and large-scale site management for events around the world. His unique blend of
hands-on experience and formal education in Electrical Engineering and Business
Management has positioned him as a versatile and forward-thinking force in the
industry.
Throughout his career, Jeff has worked behind the scenes on an extraordinary range of
projects, supporting top performers, festivals, Broadway productions, theme parks, and
major broadcast networks. He has also produced high-profile private events and galas,
including engagements for multiple U.S. Presidents at venues such as the White House
and the Pentagon. His work has been recognized with numerous accolades, including
multiple patents, two Emmy Awards, and the U.S. Department of Energy’s L-Prize, as
well as his involvement in award-winning events like Grapefest, Fort Worth Main Street,
Wildflower, and Taste Addison.
A strong advocate for safety in live events, Jeff is an active member of the Event Safety
Alliance and the Texas Association of Fairs and Events, and he serves on the Board of
Directors for the Texas Festivals and Events Association. He is also a sought-after
speaker at industry conferences, where he shares his deep knowledge and passion for
advancing the live events industry.

Ed Shaimas is an Audio Engineer with more than 40 years of experience. Touring with such acts as Diana Krall, Pat Metheny, Deep Purple and Blue Oyster Cult, to name a few. He has mixed at some of the world’s most prestigious venues including Carnegie Hall, Royal Albert Hall, Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall and Hollywood Bowl.
Ed holds certifications from PK Sound, EAW and Yamaha Audio.
Throughout his career, Ed has managed many projects ranging from multi-million-dollar tours through high-end night club venues. His live event experience includes front of house engineer, monitor engineer, production manager and tour manager.

Dekoven Martin
Service & Installation
DeKoven Martin is a Systems Integration Specialist, specializing in theatrical technologies, control systems, networking, and entertainment technology integration. His experience spans system design, commissioning, programming, training, and technical support for schools, churches, performing arts centers, theatres, and live event venues throughout Texas and beyond.
DeKoven holds multiple industry certifications and has completed advanced training through ETC in Eos programming, Paradigm architectural controls, networking, and system integration. His technical expertise includes lighting control systems, DMX and networked lighting infrastructure, theatrical console programming, fixture setup, Dante audio networking, Q-SYS, LEA Professional amplifiers, and modern performance venue technologies.
Throughout his career, DeKoven has supported projects ranging from K-12 performing arts facilities and houses of worship to theatrical productions, concerts, and professional live events. His live event experience includes lighting programming, show operation, production support, troubleshooting under show conditions, and helping ensure systems perform reliably from setup through curtain, service, or showtime.
He is passionate about helping organizations create reliable, user-friendly systems that enhance both technical operations and the end-user experience. His focus is on delivering practical, sustainable solutions while building strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, production teams, and end users.
